Vintage Jadeite Fu Lou Shou Three Colors Jade Bi Pendant
An untreated Type A Jadeite disk in Three Colors.
This type Jadeite disk pendant is called the "Bi" - also called "Donut" or "Pi" Pendant. It is the traditional Chinese symbol of Heaven.
This variation of colors of Jade such as white, green and red/orange is called "Fu Lou Shou" or Three Colors Jade and are the symbols of luck. The Fu Lou Shou Jade three colors pattern has been cherished by the Chinese for centuries. The traditional meaning of these Jade colors:
- Green jade has energy for healing mind and body, calmness and balance and love. Light green is more yin and darker green is more yang.
- White jade has the pure energy of the universe, and helps us develop deep wisdom from within, and calms our spirit.
- "Hong" jade, red/orange color, has energy for protection and safety, success, confidence, courage and happiness.
