Type-A Jadeite Dragon Pendant
We recently acquired numerous Type A (Natural - no dyes, no infusions) Jadeite Pendants from a long-time collector. This is one of those pieces.
Fine Jade is highly prized in most Asian Cultures, and is known as "The Stone of Heaven." Pieces are passed down to favored children over generations. We are both fortunate and pleased to offer this selection to our clients.
This nearly transparent and finely carved pendant features a Full Bodied Dragon. The Dragon is in the Chinese Zodiac. It is known as the mightiest of creatures, master of rain and water and usually good-natured. On the reverse is the carved Chinese symbol for Dragon. This pendant has been finely executed in Type-A Jadeite with a Moss-in-Snow coloration. It measures 28mm x 20mm x 5mm (not measuring bail) with a weight of 12.3 grams.
This pendant is affixed with an 8mm fine 14K gold bail and will be delivered as shown with box suitable for storage or presentation.
