Vintage Marquise Cut Emerald Solitaire Ring
What is not to love about Emeralds? So let's heap some love on this beautiful, vintage 1970s, Marquise Cut natural Emerald Solitaire that we acquired here on O'ahu.
This natural Emerald is certainly eye catching. It has a strong presence centered in the 14k Loop & Bead Yellow Gold Setting which features joined loops with bead centers around the gemstone, and a second surround of mil grain-style beads framing the setting entire. The Green Emerald against the Yellow Gold is a beautiful contrast. And such nice detailing on the setting!
But to the Emerald. This Marquise Cut Gem measures 11mm x 5.45mm x 3.87mm. The actual weight of the Emerald is 1.35 Carats. The color is light to medium green. It has excellent transparency and wonderful clarity, leading us to believe that it is a Russian Emerald mined in the Ural Mountains. Quite nice. We're pretty sure you're going to absolutely love this ring!
