Vintage Spinel Accented Australian Black Opal Ring
From an O'ahu, Hawai'i Estate we bring you this oh-so-lovely Vintage Australian Black Opal Ring. Truly gorgeous. The estate tells us it was acquired in Sidney, Australia in the 1980s. The ring features at its 14k Yellow-Gold center a large Bezel Set 12mm x 10mm Black Opal Doublet with predominantly Blue-Green colors. The Blue-Green Play-of-Color varies in saturation and intensity as the angle of the ring changes in the light, which is typical of Opals.
The mounted Opal is accented on each side by 3 prong-set Blue Spinels. 2 Round Spinels measuring ~3mm each, and two Oval Spinels measuring ~5mm x 3mm each. Opal and Spinels together create a beautiful and complimentary effect.
The ring face is quite large, measuring ~16mm x 19mm. You will love everything about this ring.
This ring is a size 8.75 (8 3/4) and has a hefty weight of 6.0 grams.
