Vintage Multi-Color Jade Cabochon Ring in 14K Pierced Filigree Setting
A classic presentation of traditional Jade colors set in 14K Yellow Gold.
From a local Hawai'i Estate comes this Vintage Mid-Century Ring comprised of oval Jade Cabochons in the traditional colors of Red, Yellow, Green, Brown, White, Lavender, and Black. Each of the outer cabochons measure ~ 8mm x 6mm with the center cabochon measuring ~ 10mm x 8mm. The outer gems are Type-A, untreated, Jadeite of excellent color and translucency. The center cabochon is Black Nephrite Jade which is traditionally displayed with the other Jadeite Colors. The 7 prong-set cabochons rest atop a beautifully decorated basket-style pierced body of delicate curlicue filigree.
This ring is large, with a face that measures ~ 27mm x 21mm, and it has a very good feel on the hand with a weight of 7.9 grams. It is a size 5.5 (5 1/2).
