Vintage Mid-Century Multi-Color Jade Earrings in 14K Yellow Gold
These very lovely and classically styled Mid-Century Jade and 14K Yellow Gold earrings come to us from a local Hawai'i Estate. It's a beautiful pair featuring the traditional Jadeite Colors of Yellow, Red/Brown, Green, White, and Lavender, and with Black Nephrite which is traditionally included in the Jade color-wheel.
There are 6 prong-set, marquise cut, Jade Cabochons on each earring. Each cabochon measures ~ 8mm x 4mm. These are larger earrings with faces measuring ~ 20mm in diameter. And they have a substantial feel, with a weight of ~ 10.8 grams for the pair. A lot of gold here.
These earrings have clip-backs but if desired could be converted to Omega Backs by your jeweler with the addition of a post.
