Antique Petite Lady's or Child's 14K Ruby Solitaire
Child's Ring or Petite Lady's Ring? Your choice. All we know is that it is simply precious either way.
Tiffany introduced the 6-Prong Setting back around 1886 and it's been popular ever since. The contributing O'ahu Estate tells us they believe this ring is circa World War I. The box it was found in "...came from that part of the family." Okay, World War I or perhaps a bit earlier.
Just a nice 14k Yellow Gold Ring in a 6-Prong Tiffany Style into which is inset a .20 (1/5 Carat) natural Burma Ruby. The Round-Cut Ruby measures 3.6mm x 2.25mm. Lucky child or lucky lady. Although a small gem, it stands out in its own special way.
This lovely antique ring sizes between a 2.5 - 2.75 (2 1/2 - 2 3/4) and has a weight of 1.7 grams.
