Vintage Custom Made Royal Blue Spinel And Diamonds Ring
Magnificent! Nothing less.
This beautiful vintage piece comes to us from an O'ahu Estate who reliably dates it to the early 1960s. It is a custom made ring in every respect. The band is oversize, measuring ~3.5mm. It supports an intricately designed setting which, at first glance, is reminiscent of a basket-weave pattern. This setting hosts a very large Royal Blue, Oval Cut, lab Spinel measuring ~18mm x 13mm x 7mm for a calculated weight of ~11.25 carats. Big! On either side of the Spinel are 3 natural Diamonds measuring ~2mm each, with an additional 2 Diamonds set North and South - approximately .25 (1/4) carat of natural Diamonds total. Beautiful accents for this magnificent gem. The face of the ring measures an impressive 22mm x 18mm.
This ring has a hefty weight of ~9.7 grams. It is a size 6.25 (6 1/4). It will arrive in an upgraded Cherry Wooden presentation/storage box as shown.
