Vintage 14K Lavender Jade Cabochon Ring
Beautiful and very elegantly designed Lavender Jade Ring coming to us from a local O'ahu Hawai'i Estate.
We're told this beauty was acquired in the 1980s here in Hawai'i from our high-end Liberty House Department Store. Think Bloomingdale's with an island vibe.
The 14k Yellow Gold setting for this ring is simple yet beautifully and elegantly designed, featuring design elements reminiscent of French Fleur de Lis or Asian Arabesque. The Lavender Jadeite cabochon is all natural Type-A Jade without treatment or enhancement. Color is approximately mid-way in the Lavender Jade Spectrum but under our studio lighting shows a bit stronger intensity. The Jade is translucent and internal structure is tight and well balanced. The cabochon measures ~19mm x 13mm x 5.75mm for a calculated weight of ~13 Carats. The ring is a size 10, so easily sized down if needed, and it has an impressive total weight of ~6.7 grams. Everything about this beauty is just so right.
