Vintage 18K Jade and Diamonds Bypass Ring
From an O'ahu Estate we bring this very beautiful Jade and Diamond Bypass Ring. We are told by the estate that this ring dates to the late 1960s - certainly the style is of that period - and that it was acquired while visiting Hong Kong.
This ring is crafted in 18k Yellow Gold and features a single Type-A, natural and untreated, Jadeite Cabochon measuring ~9mm x 5mm. The Jadeite is a darker Apple (almost Emerald) Green fading to Grayish-Green at the edges. The effect, however, is of an overall and evenly distributed dark Apple Green Color. There are nine inset diamonds of very good color and clarity opposite the Jadeite Cabochon. These natural Diamonds each measure ~2mm for a total weight of ~.25 Carat. The 18K Yellow Gold setting has a lightly textured Bark Finish. This is a heavy ring, weighing-in at ~8.5 grams - a lot of 18K Gold. This ring measures as a size 6.5 (6 1/2).
