Classically Designed 3-Carat Round Amethyst Solitaire in 14K Setting
Absolutely eye-candy. This vintage ring comes to us from a jeweler's collection. We were taken in the first moment of seeing this beauty by the intense color of the Amethyst. To us, and we've seen a few, the near-neon saturation is just picture-perfect. You'll find your eye wandering to the stone throughout the day.
We're told this is a 1950s ring and the design hallmarks seem to bear that out. The embedded natural Diamond accents on the shoulders were popular during that period.
The round-cut natural Amethyst measures 9.1mm and has a measured weight of approximately 3 carats. The shoulders of the setting have embedded natural Diamonds which provides a beautiful accent and contrast to the color of the Amethyst. The ring is a size 7.75 (7 3/4) and weighs 5.9g.
