Joseph Wiesner 5th Ave New York Rhinestone Collection
DO NOT overlook this collection. Joseph Wiesner of 5th Avenue is very collectible jewelry. This antique trove dates to the early 1950s and belongs to that era of glamour typically called "50s Jewelry." It was characterized by big flash, lots of glitz, and sparkles everywhere. If you search for Joseph Wiesner jewelry you find one piece at a time, earrings, bracelet, necklace, perhaps just an empty presentation box - certainly not a collection like this.
And just a note on quality. These are exceptionally well made. Each rhinestone is fully faceted. You'll find people glancing again and again and they'll still leave wondering if these were just borrowed from the Tower of London.
This collection features the large two-row necklace with dangling pendants as the original piece to this box, along with those fab earrings. It ALSO includes, and we're just adding all the pieces to the same collection, a second and third necklace. The first add-on is the two row stand shown with gray background. The second add-on is the three strand rhinestone and faux pearl. Unquestionably a beautiful piece. The detail on this necklace is stunning, right now to the rhinestones at the bottom-piece of each pearl.
All of these pieces will come in the original presentation box and doubtlessly will become a go-to treasure when totally "Over-the-Top" accessorizing is called for.
