Type-A Jadeite Standing Buddha Pendant
We recently acquired numerous Type A (Natural - no dyes, no infusions) Jadeite Pendants from a long-time collector. This is one of those pieces.
Fine Jade is highly prized in most Asian Cultures, and is known as "The Stone of Heaven." Pieces are passed down to favored children over generations. We are both fortunate and pleased to offer this selection to our clients.
This pendant has a Moss-in-Snow coloration with excellent saturation and transparency. Executed in beautiful detail, this is Hotei/Budai, or the Standing Smiling Buddha. It measures 39mm x 20mm and has a weight of 11.25 grams.
