Type-A Jadeite Rabbit And Lotus Pendant
We recently acquired numerous Type A (Natural - no dyes, no infusions) Jadeite Pendants from a long-time collector. This is one of those pieces.
Fine Jade is highly prized in most Asian Cultures, and is known as "The Stone of Heaven." Pieces are passed down to favored children over generations. We are both fortunate and pleased to offer this selection to our clients.
This finely carved and nearly transparentpendant features a Rabbit atop Lotus Blossoms. The Rabbit is in the Chinese Zodiac, and is also a symbol for longevity. The Lotus is the symbol for Purity and Perfection. This pendant has been finely executed in Type-A Jadeite with a Moss-in-Snow coloration. It measures 31mm x 20mm x 7mm with a weight of 6.1 grams.
