At one time it was custom as a young lady entered mid-teens for Father or Mother to present a first piece of good jewelry. Oft as not these rings would pass-down through the family. This is a very pretty and petite Dad or Mom-Daughter ring in 14k gold, probably from the mid-1950s. It is inset with 12 small but nice prong set natural Diamonds. The ring is a size 5 and has a weight of 3 grams.
