A massive Carnelian Cabochon measuring 27mm x 20mm x 5.8mm as mounted. Approximately 30 Carats. No dyes, fillers, or infusions. Next, a consistent smoothness and evenness of color, with strong saturation of tone and hue. Next, it is mounted in a finely crafted 14K basket setting accented by a spiral twist and fine milgraining. Finally, the cabochon is finely finished with a gleaming high polish on front and back. This ring and this stone screams finery. We are told by the previous owner that this ring was a gift from an Aunt who collected fine jewelry and purchased this piece in the 1990s at a dear price.

Both rings are similar in size with the face of both rings measuring about 1.25 (1 1/4) inches.
