Vintage Gold Openwork Brooch in 14K Gold Setting With Half-Carat Diamond

This oh-so-lovely vintage brooch is circa 1960s. We in Hawai'i look at it and think of waves on the North Shore. The trade refers to this style generally as an openwork design. But we love it, and we love the natural Diamond even more. The natural Diamond measures approximately 5.11mm x 5.11mm which gives us a weight of One-Half Carat. It has an estimated clarity of SI1 and H-I in color. A very nice natural Diamond. The weight of this brooch is approximately 4.6 grams and it measures 38mm x 15mm.
Which way to wear it? Your choice. Either direction horizontally or even either direction vertically. The Diamond will shine just as brightly either way.
