Simple. Elegant. Gorgeous.
This oh-so-lovely vintage brooch is circa 1960s. We in Hawai'i look at it and think of waves on the North Shore. The trade refers to this style generally as an openwork design.
But we love it, and we love the natural Diamond even more. The natural Diamond measures approximately 5.11mm x 5.11mm which gives us a weight of approximately one-half carat. It has an estimated clarity of SI1 and H-I in color. A very nice natural Diamond. The weight is approximately 4.6 grams and it measures 38mm x 15mm.
One of our staff pointed out that although absent a bail, this brooch could also be worn as a pendant by suspending on a chain using the pin-latch. We took a photo to illustrate how this would look.
