Lovely Estate Pearls Station Necklace in 14K Gold.
Elsa Peretti is credited with design of the first station necklace about 1974 while working with Tiffany & Co., but the Pearl Station Necklace really gained huge popularity when worn by Rene Russo in the 1996 movie, Tin Cup. It is has a fashion staple since.
These Pearls are from the late-80s and come to us in the estate box as shown - which we will in turn deliver to you. The Snake-Chain necklace is adorned by 11 cultured Pearls, each measuring approximately 7.5mm. The necklace is approximately 16" in length and has a weight of 10.6 grams.
