Vintage Pinkish-Red Rubellite Tourmaline and Diamond Ring in 14K
Stunner Alert!! Everyone here at Aloha Estate Jewelry fell in love with this ring. It ranks high on the "Owner's Picks" list. We don't have an exact date, but have determined this ring is at least 1970s vintage, perhaps 10 years or more earlier. But whatever the date or origin, it is gorgeous in every regard. The natural Pinkish-Red Rubellite Tourmaline is hosted in a 14K Cathedral Mount, This allows use of a larger 6-Prong setting, with the base of the prongs inset into the body. This elevates the stone for maximum exposure, while not setting too high. The mount has wide shoulders into which natural Diamond Baguettes have been placed on either side of the Tourmaline.
The natural Tourmaline is 1-Carat and likely a bit more. It measures a large 6.6mm in diameter and really has presence in this setting. In total there are approximately .40 - .50 Carat of natural very clear, nearly-colorless Diamonds. Everything about this ring is quality, quality, quality. An excellent pick for your dressiest occasion, or would make a gorgeous non-traditional Engagement Ring.
This ring is a size 8.25 (8 1/4) and has a goodly weight o 6.16 grams.
