A very pretty antique 10K Gold and Amethyst Pendant. The estate tells us that this pendant has been with them since at least the early 1950s, and likely well before that. One of those items that was handed down through several family members. It has a simple openwork filigree design intended to focus attention to, and complement, the royal purple Amethyst, which it does very nicely. The pendant measures 25mm x 10mm including the bail. It is suspended from an 18 inch 14K chain that is a later addition to the pendant, but complements it very well. All together, a very nice pendant and chain.
