Vintage Red Jadeite Marquise Cabochon Ring in Custom Made 14K Setting
Sometimes in this business you just let the pictures speak for themselves. Such is the case here with this scrumptious custom made Jadeite ring.
This vintage ring is from around the early 1960s. It has a simple and yet simply elegant design. The ring is in 14K Rose Gold, and excellent choice for the Red Marquise Jadeite Cabochon. The cabochon is slightly elevated from your finger in its setting. It is simply adorned on either side of the Jadeite with a stylized floral spray. Thought was surely given to how best to accent, but not detract from, the Jade. A total success.
This beauty is not marked for Gold purity, not uncommon in custom designs, but was tested in-house and guaranteed as 14K. The ring is a size 4.75 (4 3/4). The Jadeite Cab is large, measuring 22mm x 10mm. The ring weighs 4.69 grams.
