Gorgeous Vintage Pearls!
This cultured Salt Water/Akoya hand-knotted Pearl Necklace was acquired back in the 1950s. They remain in excellent condition today with no issues noted. At some point a 14K White Gold and natural Diamond Bowtie Clasp was added to enhance the beauty of the pearls. This clasp is suitable for traditional wear behind the neck, or off-shoulder as we show here.
These Akoya Pearls are Baroque and Near Rounds. The Cream Color is gorgeous. There are two strands. One strand holding 47 Pearls, the other holding 52 Pearls. These Pearls measure between 7 - 8mm.
The necklace length is approximately 17.25 (17 1/4) inches.
Every Lady should have Pearls in her collection, and these are simply Gorgeous!
