Vintage 14K Italian Mediterranean Coral Cabochon Ring
Beautiful Natural and Untreated Red Coral from the Mediterranean. This ring has travelled extensively we're told. The estate include family members who were in the US Navy and this ring was acquired in Italy when the couple was living there in the late 1950s. There were other residences throughout Europe, with the ring and family finally settling in Hawai'i in the 1970s. The Coral is cut in the typical Cabochon Style and bezel mounted in 14K Yellow Gold. The purity mark has faded but the ring has been purity tested in-house for 14K.
The face of the ring measures 14.5mm North-to-South and 11mm East-to-West. A goodly sized piece of Mediterranean Coral, but a comfortable ring to wear with the weight well balanced. The ring is a size 5 and has a weight of 4 grams.
