We don't see these often. And this particular piece is somewhat unique.
Rutilated Quartz has the characteristic of fine needle-like inclusions called Rutiles. Rarely are the inclusions seen in this unusual and pronounced fleck pattern. We like it. Lots.
The necklace is vintage. Been around for many years since the 1960s. It is 18" in length and is joined by a 14K Yellow Gold Clasp that is ideal for wearing off-shoulder to accent the necklace. There are 33 natural Rutilated Quartz Beads with an average measure of 12.5mm. The Gold Clasp is 10mm.
