Small Jadeite Pendant of Smiling Buddha
We recently acquired numerous Type A (Natural - no dyes, no infusions) Jadeite Pendants from a long-time collector. This is one of those pieces.
Fine Jade is highly prized in most Asian Cultures, and is known as "The Stone of Heaven." Pieces are passed down to favored children over generations. We are both fortunate and pleased to offer this selection to our clients.
This pendant is a representation of Hotei/Budai, the Smiling Buddha, seated and smiling. A classic and timeless pose that everyone will recognize. The coloration is White with Green Shadows in the top left half of the pendant. A nice effect and nice coloration. It measures 30mm x 25mm (not measuring ring) with a weight of 5.94 grams.
This pendant is affixed with a simple 14K gold jump ring and will be delivered as shown with box suitable for display, storage or presentation.
