Vintage 14k Natural Orange-Red Sapphire Ring with Diamond Accents
Just beautiful! This ring arrived at our shop in nearly pristine condition. Again a story of a ring being discovered that had been loved, but being stored away for years and years believing it should only be worn on special occasions. We hear a lot of that.
This beauty begins with a 14K Yellow Gold split-shank setting hosting a center-mounted natural Orange-Red Sapphire weighting one-half carat. The Sapphire measures 5mm x 4mm but for its bright coloration seems larger. It is flanked and accented on either side by 3 natural Diamonds, with a total Diamond weight of approximately .20 carats as measured in setting. These Diamonds are remarkably bright and clear. Not often the case for accent stones. The ring is a size 6.25 (6 1/4).
We're often asked if this or that ring would be suitable as a non-traditional engagement ring. For this one we say absolutely.
