Beautiful, beautiful set of large Topaz Earrings in the very rare color of red. It ranks in rarity with Pink and Yellow. And these are just, Whoa! Wow! nice!
Each earring measures a whopping 8mm in diameter for an estimated weight of 5 Carats Total Weight. They are hosted in two well formed, solid and substantial, 14K Yellow Gold Basket Settings. These are excellent quality earrings.
They are marked JCR. This is Jam Creations, a company in the New York Jewelry District that operated from 1989 to 2004. The JCR mark was used from 1996 to 2004 and the estate tells us these were purchased in about 1997 so all sounds correct. Jam Creations had a great reputation for their jewelry, producing mid to high-end pieces primarily for upper class clients. These would have been toward the higher end of their pieces - count on it.
Can't go wrong with these and we don't expect they will be around long.
