Vintage 14K Highly Carved Lavender Jadeite Cabochon Ring
From a local Hawai'i Estate, from a Lady who clearly knows her Jade, we were able to acquire two beautiful Lavender Jadeite Rings which we are pleased to now offer. Both rings are vintage from the mid 1960s to mid 1970s.
This is an oval Lavender Type-A, untreated, Jadeite Cabochon that has been beautifully carved and in great detail. The carving shows leafy florals and symbol for good fortune. Let us say, too, how very, very unusual it is to find a lavender cabochon of this size which has been carved. Yes, rare.
The carved cabochon is set in a 14K Yellow Gold Setting which appears to be custom-made. The cabochon has a high polish top and bottom. It is a large sized cab, measuring about 20mm x 14mm. Big.
This ring is a size 8 and has a weight of 7.18 grams.
