This is one of the new gemstone discoveries, from about 2003, and its popularity has been rising since. A beautiful Red to Reddish Pink Gemstone, it rivals the color of much, much more valuable stones.
This is a large specimen of Andesine, measuring approximately 10mm x 5.6mm for a measured weight of approximately 2.72 Carats. A sizable gemstone of commanding presence.
The gem has been paired with a 14K White Gold Setting and suspended from an 18 inch 14K White Gold Chain. To us it's the perfect combination, as it allows the beautiful color of this gem to really stand out.
