Vintage Apple Green Jadeite Cabochon Ring in 14K Yellow Gold

From a Hawai'i Estate comes this lovely, lovely Apple Green Jadeite Cabochon Ring. Beautiful Color. A few shades darker than usually found in Apple Green Jade, and less mottling. Here the green dominates and there are bare wisps of white as though clouds floating by. So pretty.
This Type A all natural and untreated Jadeite is set in a 14K Yellow gold setting. The design is mid century, which fits because it dates to the late 1950s or early 1960s by the estate's memory. It is in very, very good condition, as is its original box, which shows its origin to be from Yamada Jewelers of Okinawa. An excellent location to find great Jade.
This cabochon measures approximately 10.5mm x 7.5mm. The ring is a size 4 and has a weight of approximately 2.26 Grams.
